The University of the Aegean was home during studies. The 3D graphics lab assigned us with a task to come up with an idea in 3D animation and develop it. In this video, one can witness a 3D model from the real world, a Japanese ball bearing which is typing deliverance on a cement floor. As a young child, one was always receiving little gifts, promotional key-rings of ball bearings. One loved mechanisms from an early age. Though growing older and living a motorist life, teaches one all kind of lessons of motors. At the time of the development of this video (more or less 2004), I bought my first motorcycle. A good friend of mine bought a new bike too. We were having a blast until October 2005, when the first serious accident caused by a big Suv which by idiocy stopped in the middle of the road changed my life. Succeeding the same month, I lost my close friend on a motorcycle accident subsequently. This experience influenced a lot my perspective of motors. This lesson was hard and sharp. Having a lot of time and going more in-depth, I was curious to see how a ball bearing works and its history. There I saw the dual nature of motors. It is providing us with unlimited freedom from friction to run faster. An engine can also bring us to a different “emancipation” if we do not use it properly.
