Since I was 14 years old, I have been playing the drums for fun. I took some lessons and developed a small home studio later. I was always jamming with friends, and we also recorded an EP years ago. Lately, I was studying a little bit more complicated rhythmic patterns. So I needed to change the positioning of the drums to achieve different sounds and grooves. The idea of this video was also from an old university assignment. (2004 – introduction to 3d modelling). My passion for detail while fine-tuning my drumset brought me to the point of designing one. This version that you will see here is modified (2019), and it comes from a real model. It has numerous modifications on it. You can also listen to random loops of me drumming, mixed with an ambient sound.
